Ever wished you could stand on top of the mountain where Moses met God face to face? Could this be the very mountain where Moses met with God and received the Ten Commandments?! 2.  ARK OF THE COVENANT

Why did the Ethiopian eunuch – a man who Scripture describes as being of great authority under Candace, Queen of the Ethiopians and who had the charge of all her treasure – go to Jerusalem to worship during the time of the early apostles and then return home, reading from the book of Isaiah the prophet and puzzling over it as he went? Why did the Holy Spirit make a point of sending someone to meet him there in the desert? Philip the apostle was in the middle of a revival before he was sent to meet him and when they parted, was immediately transported (the word in Greek is ‘raptured’) somewhere else. This meeting was obviously incredibly important. Was it to open the doors to evangelize Africa? Or could it be something else? Had the Ethiopian eunuch heard rumours of the long awaited arrival of the Messiah and gone to Jerusalem to see if this was the time for the Ark of the Covenant to be presented to Him? And when he heard that the Messiah had been crucified, is that why he was puzzling over Isaiah 53? After meeting Philip in the desert and learning that the Messiah would return again one day, did he then return home to the queen and report, “Not yet”? Read the story in Acts 8:26 and let me know what you think. Then watch this and decide for yourself as Bob Cornuke, former police crime investigator and often referred to as a modern day ‘Indiana Jones’ while referring to himself as a sinner saved by grace, shares another of his amazing adventures in search of lost and unknown Biblical artefacts.

Is the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia?  (Chuck Missler) Men through the centuries have been almost as intrigued with the search for the Ark of the Covenant as they have with the search for Noah’s ark. The Ark was not in the restoration temple, nor the temple of Herod, nor in the tribulation temple. Neither is there any mention of it even in the millennial temple described in Ezekiel 40–48. People have rumoured it is preserved somewhere in a cave in Ethiopia, or in the Arabian Desert, under the old temple site in Jerusalem or somewhere else. This is one reason some scholars believe that the Ark is indeed in Axum.

Breaking news about the most controversial piece of real estate in the world (2015)  another piece of the ‘last days’ jigsaw puzzle, history in the making and we’re here to see it. The Jewish temple was completely destroyed in A.D.70 – just as the Lord Jesus said it would be and also why (fascinating). It has never been rebuilt. However Jesus also said the temple would be standing and operational during the Great Tribulation that is to come. Plans to rebuild the temple have quietly been under way since 1987. And probably in Jewish dreams for centuries. The way things are in Jerusalem right now, what do you think the chances of a new Jewish temple happening? Stand back and watch.

And what will the Ark of the Covenant replica look like? There are many different artistic speculations about the original, so you may find this fascinating, as I did.
