HISTORY IN THE MAKING – AND WE’RE HERE TO SEE IT!
The Jewish temple was completely destroyed in A.D.70 – just as Jesus said it would be and also why (fascinating). It has never been rebuilt. However, the Lord Jesus also said the temple would be standing and operational during the Great Tribulation that is to come. The way things are in Jerusalem right now, what do you think the chances of a new Jewish temple happening? God is absolutely in control. Stand back and watch…

HISTORY
1917 – World War I – 800 Aussies in slouch hats (A.N.Z.A.C.s) freed Jerusalem from centuries of hostile rule, making way for the new nation of Israel (1948) and the return of the Jewish people to their homeland. In the history of the world, this is a miracle in itself.
1947 – The Dead Sea Scrolls were ‘accidentally’ re-discovered JUST in time to be delivered to the brand new nation of Israel. During the time that the Jews were out of their homeland and disbursed all across the world, God kept the priceless scrolls of His Word safe, smack bang in the middle of the volatile middle east, for nearly 2000 years.
1948 – The nation of Israel is reborn.
1967 – Israel won control over Jerusalem against many adversaries… and in six days.
1987 – Israel started making plans to rebuild the temple and they have been quietly restoring or constructing authentic sacred vessels, the clothing of the priests, etc, ready for that new temple. And now they are all ready to go. They just need the land.
2015 – New 3D architectural plans for the new modern temple were revealed this week. This 3 minute video takes us on a virtual tour through the plans for the new Jewish temple. As we watch it, I want to draw your attention to a technology statement that the Lord Jesus made. In Matthew 24:14-27 He warns people living in Judea, ‘When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place, then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains…’ Once the temple is complete, the only person allowed in the Holy of Holies is the Jewish high priest and then only once a year after great ceremonial preparation. The only way anyone is going to ‘see‘ anything in there, is by TV camera and modern technology. When this event happens that the Lord Jesus talks about, it’s going to hit the 6 o’clock news. But before all that, Jesus is coming to ‘rapture’ His church out of it. Are you ready for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of the Universe?

Matthew 24:14-27 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads this, let him understand). Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains… For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
QUESTION: Why did Jesus go back to Heaven after He rose from the dead instead of taking the throne of Israel then and there, as the angel promised Mary?
THIS IS WHY! Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they [the Jews, corporately] acknowledge their offence [that is singular and specific – of rejecting their Messiah] and seek my face: in their affliction [i.e. the ‘Great Tribulation’ or the ‘times of Jacob’s trouble’] they will seek me earnestly.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Did you know: there are now hundreds of Messianic Christian fellowships in Israel and growing? For the first time in centuries, the blindness towards their Messiah is lifting off the Jews and they are realising that we love and serve their Messiah… yet another sign we are in the ‘last days’.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh.

DID YOU KNOW: The prophet Daniel was given a precise, mathematical formula to work out the exact date as to when The Meshiach Nagid (The Messiah The King) would present Himself as King the first time He was on earth. And Jesus held the Jewish leaders accountable to know their Bibles. It took a former head of Scotland Yard to work out this puzzling mystery.
Who really owns Jerusalem? A brief history of Jerusalem and the temple mount (ldolphin)
Prayers to God in the wrong spot? (baseinstitute) It has been called the most contested plot of land in the world — the fissure at which three major faiths come together, and break apart. There have been holy wars fought over it and holy writ foretelling of battles yet to come. It’s Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. But what if history got it wrong? What if the spot where Solomon built the first Jewish Temple, and Herod built the second, was actually about 600 feet to the south, in a place known as the ancient City of David? Enter Robert Cornuke. He travels the world solving Bible mysteries: Noah’s Ark, the Ark of the Covenant, he’s studied them in depth. Now, he’s looking at the Jewish Temple.
The Amazing Scarlet Worm Have you heard the story about the amazing scarlet (or crimson) worm? The female adheres herself permanently to a tree, lays her eggs protectively under her body; covers herself and her eggs with a scarlet dye; and literally gives her life to feed her young. A crimson spot is left on the branch that dries out in 3 days, and changes to white as it flakes off. This tiny insect is an amazing picture of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Meshiach Nagid, the Messiah The King…

Andrea, this is a powerful post! Another wake up call!
There are over 350 Messianic Christian fellowships in Israel?? That’s so encouraging! God is faithful, 2 Pet 3:9 is alive and well! :)) Thanks so much for sharing :)

Yeah, they’re the numbers that I heard not too long ago from Dr Chuck Missler… and he regularly visits there and takes tour groups there. Exciting isn’t it? I just wish we could fast forward to the end of Revelation and skip all the nasty bits in the middle! :)
Look up, our redemption is nigh!

So true, It’s disheartening watching the rising persecution of Christians and lawlessness around the world. But rightly said, we have to look up!! And I’m reminded of Elisha in 2 Kings 6:16 “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
Do have a great weekend Andrea :) Bless you :)
