God is always with you (no matter what) and has a plan for your life. This is a wonderful encouraging letter that one of our readers, Kathy, wrote to her sponsored child, Eduar from Honduras.

Dear _________
How are you? How is your family? How is school going for you? We are doing okay. This has been a difficult month for us with many challenges and difficult days. However, I have been walking with Jesus a long time now. I have learned that just because things go wrong our lives, it does not mean that God has forgotten us or that he doesn’t care. In the Bible, James said that we should count it all joy when we face trials of many kinds because such difficult times strengthen our faith. God has promised not to leave us nor forsake us, even in the difficult times. Each morning, a new day begins. Who knows what the day will bring? God knows. This is why He tells us not to be afraid. He has already gone ahead of us into the new day. He knows the way. He knows what will happen He knows all we need. In the morning, we can put our day into his hands. 1 Peter 5:7 says “Give all your worries and cares to God because he cares for you.” Let the Lord calm the storms in your heart. At the end of the day, we can give our day back to God and trust Him with all that happened in it. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you”. The Lord not only knows who you are, but He loves you more than you can imagine. You are His workmanship, created to do good works that the Lord planned in advance that you should do. (Ephesians 2:10) He has a purpose for your life. Even the bad things that satan means for your harm, the Lord will turn it around and bring good out of it. (Romans 8:28) Remember, no matter what happens in this day, nothing can separate you from the love of God. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8) I know that your life is not easy, but I am proud of you for not giving up. I am excited for the future to see what the Lord will do with your life. Good bye for now, with many hugs and kisses.
