In the beginning… GOD. When God made something out of nothing… He simply spoke and then it was. Wow! He didn’t need time. He just needed talent. Incredible talent. And our magnificent God has that in abundance. Before we dive into the individual days of creation, let’s just stop and reflect on that…

BIBLE VERSES
John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not… He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. WHO WAS THE CREATOR? THE FATHER, THE SON, OR THE HOLY SPIRIT?
Different Scriptures show us that every major event in the Bible is ascribed specifically to each member of Elohim (the Trinity). Totally confusing, until you realise that they are the same. Equal, yet different, working seamlessly together as One. This chart sets it out simply and clearly. Dr Chuck Missler often likens it to three executives of a corporation, all working in unity toward a common goal. Separate, yet one. There are many verses in Scripture about creation, but here are just a few.
The creation of the universe was attributed to the:
- Father in Psalm 102:25;
- Son in Colossians 1:16 and John 1:1-3; and
- Holy Spirit in Genesis 1:2 and Job 26:13.
The creation of man was attributed to the:
- Father in Genesis 2:7;
- Son in Colossians 1:16; and
- Holy Spirit in Job 33:4.

IN THE BEGINNING – INFORMATION TO SHARE WITH YOUR CHILD
Ephesians 1:4-7 tells us that God chose us […when…?] before the foundation of the world… woah!
According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
101 scientific facts (eternal-productions) written down in the Bible centuries before they were ‘discovered’. Here are just four:
1. The earth free-floats in space (Job 26:7). Other sources declared the earth sat on the back of an elephant or a turtle, or was held up by Atlas. The Bible alone states what we now know to be true: “He hangs the earth on nothing.”
2. The First Law of Thermodynamics established (Genesis 2:1-2). The First Law states that the total quantity of energy and matter in the universe is a constant. One form of energy or matter may be converted into another, but the total quantity always remains the same. Therefore the creation is finished, exactly as God said way back in Genesis.
3. The universe had a beginning (Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 1:10-12). Science has confirmed the Biblical view that the universe had a beginning. When the Bible was written most people believed the universe was eternal. Science has proven them wrong, but the Bible correct.
4. The first three verses of Genesis accurately express all known aspects of the creation (Genesis 1:1-3). Science expresses the universe in terms of: time, space, matter, and energy. In Genesis chapter one we read: “In the beginning (time) God created the heavens (space) and the earth (matter)…Then God said, “Let there be light (energy).” No other creation account agrees with the observable evidence.
