Just as a child runs to their parent when they are defiled, so too we should run to our Heavenly Father when we are defiled in this dirty world. Just because we have made a mess does not mean we cannot approach the One who makes us clean. In fact, that is how we should deal with it. Admit it. Remember the Christian’s bar of soap (so wonderful!)…
IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Run TO God and not from Him. He knows us so intimately – dirt and all – and loved us enough to die for us.
