If our kids want to get to know Jesus, the best way to do so is through His Word, the Bible. Here is a fun, easy and creative way to jazz up your Bible verses… and anyone can do it. Yes, even you. :)
BIBLE VERSE + CREATIVITY = TYPOGRAPHY
Huh? What is typography?
Typography is arranging words so that it looks like art.
Answer this quick pop quiz…
1. Can you type words on a computer? (Tick)
2. Do you know how to change fonts? (Tick)
3. Do you know how to change the colour of your fonts? (Tick)
And that’s all you need for this creative idea. You can even do this in your word processor. Want a Bible verse card? Set up your page to 4×6. Prefer a poster? Set your page to A4. Keep it simple to start with, then push those buttons and have a play. Okay, are you ready? Here we go…
1. Set up your page.
2. Type out your favourite Bible verse.
3. Play with fonts or colours.
4. Adjust layout to suit. Print on photo paper for best results. Laminate if you wish. Make it a special gift your child will treasure.

The Bible verses I chose for this tutorial are:
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
Exodus 20:11 For in SIX DAYS the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
I love this Bible verse. Just in case we didn’t get it the first time around in Genesis 1, God engraved it on a tablet of stone for us with His own finger!
