The Bamboozling Panda (creation.com) information from scientists who take the Bible seriously; Pandas do not hibernate or growl like other bears. They talk to each other by bleating. Mama Panda has to be extremely careful and devoted not to crush her tiny baby. She is the equivalent of a 3.5 kg (8 lb) human baby having a mother weighing around 3,000 kg (three tonnes). :o
Giant Panda (answersingenesis) The panda is found in bamboo forests… Its distinctive coat is white with black markings around its eyes, ears, and front and back legs. The canine teeth of the panda are pointed like a lion. However, the panda prefers a diet mainly of bamboo instead of meat. Its teeth are designed to chew and crush the thick bamboo, and it can chew more than 3,000 bamboo stalks in one day; information from scientists who take the Bible seriously.
Giant Panda (answersingenesis) Unlike other bears, the panda has enlarged wrist bones, which actually act like extra fingers for it to grasp and break tough bamboo shoots. Its jaws, teeth, esophagus, and stomach are also designed to help it eat bamboo. The esophagus is lined with a tough lining that protects the bear from splinters, and the stomach is lined with muscle to protect it; information from scientists who take the Bible seriously.
Giant Panda – the veggie bear (answersingenesis) I eagerly pressed my face against the glass and watched the adorable bears stuff bamboo shoots into their mouths. I couldn’t get over their contentedness as they munched away without a care in the world. Then a question struck me: “How can these huge bears live on plants instead of meat?”; information from scientists who take the Bible seriously.

Red Panda (creation.com) The Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens) has a bushy, striped tail and characteristic red/white colouration. They live in parts of central Asia. Their physical traits make them hard to classify. Some scientists think they are bears like the giant panda, others a type of raccoon; information from scientists who take the Bible seriously.

Bible poster / verse card ~ I found this great photo of a panda (too cute) sitting up in a tree to send to my kids. It had lovely soft lighting and he was so gorgeous, relaxing beautifully for the camera. I put a lime green edge around the actual photo, put it against a white background with a black border around that; put a Bible verse in dark blue text in the top right hand corner of the photo; and then laminated it before sending. Here’s another great panda photo with mountain backdrop. If your child can ‘bear’ to cut it up :) they would also make fabulous jigsaw puzzles.
